A lot can change in 10 years - and here are some trends experts at USA Today say we can look forward to in the year 2023.
First: Car fuel economy will continue to improve and should average at least 36 miles per gallon. Today the average for North American cars is about 26 miles per gallon.
Also: Look for movie theaters to become plusher. After a decade of losing moviegoers to fancy home movie systems, experts say theaters will offer bigger seats with more legroom in an effort to lure people out of their homes.
On the health front: By the year 2023, cancer and heart disease will no longer be the #1 killers in North America! As medical technology improves, experts say more people will survive those conditions, leaving Alzheimer’s disease as the nation’s biggest health problem.
