  • How about pizza? Researchers at the Mario Negri Institute in Milan found that eating some pizza twice a week can help prevent cancer! In a study of 8,000 Italians, regular pizza eaters reduced their risk of throat tumors by 34%. And reduced their risk of esophageal cancer and colon cancer by 40%. The secret is in the tomato sauce. It’s the #1 source of anti-oxidants which can protect your health.
  • High heels. Conventional thought is that women who wear high heels will inevitably suffer knee and ankle problems down the road. But a new study by the University of Warwick in England showed that women who regularly wear three-inch heels are actually less likely to suffer joint ailments. They found that housework and other demanding physical work was a more likely cause of problems such as arthritis.
  • Sunday afternoon football couch potatoes this next excuse is for you. Researcher from Ball State University indicates that students who are sports fans have higher grade-point averages than those who aren’t. And another study from the University of Kansas showed that sports nuts had less chance of suffering depression. Additionally, they found that a partner’s sports addiction tended to have either a neutral or positive affect on a marriage.
