Would you be okay with a high school randomly drug testing your kid? That's what's happening at a school in Missouri. It's part of a new anti-drug policy, where they'll collect 60 strands of hair from randomly selected pupils to be tested for cocaine, PCP, marijuana and other substances.
And kids can't opt out - this will be mandatory. This isn't a high school with a bad reputation, either; it's a religious school. But they gave students an anonymous survey, asking if they thought their friends were using drugs. So many kids said 'yes,' that the school decided to drug test.
What do you think about random drug testing at high school? Necessary these days? Or an invasion of privacy & something that should be left to parents?
