One Daddy Blogger says they're a bunch of mean kids - and set a bad example! Daddy blogger Buzz Bishop says, “The show is riddled with the kids calling each other stupid, dumb, and blockheads. There is continuous teasing and bullying. Charlie Brown is kicked and demeaned at every turn, even by the adults giving out candy."

He thinks the only reason we still accept and love Charlie Brown & the Peanuts gang is out of a sense of nostalgia. And now that he mentions it - he has a point! Those kids DO tease and bully each other constantly. And bullying is a very serious issue.

But are we supposed to shelter our kids from that kind of thing? Or talk to them about it - and tell them why it's wrong to put other people down and call them names.

Give your thoughts: Is it time to retire Charlie Brown? Do we need to talk to our kids about the message the show sends? Or are we all just being too darn sensitive?
