Guys: Are you so proud of your body that you’re willing to show it off in photos? If you said “yes,” then you’re a prime candidate for the latest photo trend known as “dude-oir photography," where men pose for intimate portraits wearing little more than their underwear and a bed sheet all for the women they love.

As you can probably guess, dudeoir photography is a spinoff of the boudoir photo trend that’s been popular among women for years. And these days, professional photographers say up to 25-percent of their business comes from men asking for dudeoir photo shoots. And guys are posing for the same reasons women do because they want to celebrate their body in photos or create a unique, intimate gift to give to their partners.
One San Francisco businessman says his wife talked him into posing for some shots wearing only a kilt. And by the way, it’s not just hunky body-builders signing up. Experts say plenty of “average Joes” are requesting dudeoir photo shoots, including men in their 60s and 70s and guys who want to show off their weight loss. A typical dudeoir shoot comes with a team of professionals to do your hair and grooming and to light the shots to make you look as flattering as possible. In fact, some guys like the results so much, they’re posting their dudeoir photos on Facebook or on dating websites.
