Here's some intelligence for your automobile. These quick tips come from First magazine:

  • Right up front, it's winter time, which means, every morning, you could be facing the dreaded icy windshield! So, keep those rock-hard ice formations from forming with this simple trick: Next time the weatherman predicts snow, cut an onion in half   it doesn't matter whether it's white, red or brown   and rub the cut side all over your windshield before the first flake falls. What does this do? Those same sulfuric compounds that make you cry, also prevent the water on your windshield from freezing--Which means you can sleep in, instead of getting up early to scrape your 'shield!
  • Then, use this quick trick to freshen up your car and keep yourself alert. Stick a new sheet of citrus fabric softener under your driver's seat every 3 weeks. As your car engine warms up, the sheet releases energy-inducing aromas, making the interior smell fresh and clean   and making you feel revitalized and ready to go.
  • And one final quick bit of intelligence for your car is--Keep those carpets vacuumed!
The less stuff on the floor being ground into the carpet   things like leaves, dirt and scattered Cheerios   the longer the carpet will last.
