There’s a New Tool for Catching Cheaters
There’s a new tool for catching cheaters. We won’t give the name of the Website, because it’s pretty risqué, but the new site claims to help you identify men and women who have a “sketchy past,” by sharing profiles of alleged cheaters. Many of the profiles include full names, photos, and a recap of past indiscretions. The idea is that if you’re curious about someone you’re dating, you can type their name into the site’s search engine. Then, if nothing pops up, you can continue dating, confident that the person is loyal, because nobody has ever reported them as a “cheater.”
Is the site accurate? In one report we read about, researchers found profiles for many celebrities who’ve recently confessed to cheating – including Tiger Woods, John Edwards, and Anthony Weiner. Since all profiles are created anonymously, experts warn that some details tend to be exaggerated. However, they say sites like this are important, when you consider that surveys show 74% of divorces in North America are the result of an extra-marital affair.
