We've told you about how men who do housework are more attractive to their wives.

Well, a new study shows that there's another benefit to the husband helping out. According to marital researcher Dr. John Gottman, men who do housework and childcare have more loving and happier marriages. If a woman feels over burdened by household chores and responsibilities, she feels less satisfied with her marriage, which also affects the quality of the marriage for the man--But when a woman feels more supported, more respected and loved by her husband because he's sharing in housecleaning and child rearing, she in turn gives more to her mate, and the marriage prospers. One study showed that men who claim to support feminist ideas only do an average of four minutes more housework per day than men who have openly "macho" beliefs.
So both of those guys, even the one who thinks he's in favor of feminism, are sending the message that they have a lack of respect for their wives. So remember - actions speak louder than words. Also, doing more housework may be good for a man's health. There's a direct correlation between how much housework a man does and how physically fit he is.
So guys, if you want to rekindle that romantic spark with your spouse, take a look at your role as a helper. Ask your wife what you can do to make your marriage more of a partnership, and then do it!
