Who is more likely to be obese?

It's the work-a-holic desk jockey versus the couch potato in a race to see who is more likely to be obese-- It's neck and neck, but the couch potato pulls ahead, and wins by a love handle! Okay seriously, watching TV is more likely to lead to obesity and diabetes than any of the following activities: sewing, playing board games, reading, sitting at a desk, or driving. That's according to the Harvard School of Public Health. So why is TV watching so bad for you? Because you have a lower energy expenditure than doing any other sedentary activity. The only thing you're moving when you're in front of the tube is your index finger to change the channel! Plus, people who watch a lot of TV tend to eat more snack foods. Now you know.
