Time to get healthy!

Here are 2 random health tidbits that'll help keep you in tip-top shape. First: According to the American Dietetic Association, 20% of women in their childbearing years are iron deficient. And even though they're not officially anemic, the symptoms are the same: fatigue, a weakened immune system, and difficulty concentrating. So, to pump up the iron content in your diet, throw out that expensive cookware and return to grandma's cast-iron. The mineral leaches out of the pot into the food, boosting your iron content tremendously  especially in acidic foods like spaghetti sauce and tomato-based soups.
And second: When it's late at night and you still have one last chore to do, should you do it before bed, or set the alarm a little early and tackle it in the morning? Survey says - DO IT NOW. According to research from Stanford University, skipping an hour or more of sleep early in the morning is worse than missing a few ZZZZ's at night. It can lead to impaired memory, poor concentration and bad judgment. So stay up a little later and get that last chore done. You'll thank yourself the next day.
