If you think early exercising is too early, you're wrong!

It's 5:30am, you're snuggled in bed under the covers and it's dark outside. The last thing you want to do is exercise, right? Well, according to researchers, the morning is one of the best times to work out!
Experts say hitting the gym early is great for a couple of reasons. First, there are fewer distractions in the morning   you're not exhausted from a long day at the office, there's no dinner to cook, and there's no prime time TV to lure you away from the gym. A morning workout also jump starts your mood because it floods your body with feel good endorphins, so you'll have more energy throughout the day. And although some doctors say working out in the afternoon is the best time for your body - because your muscles are warm and less prone to injury - most of us are busy during that time with work and school.
So how can you drag yourself out of bed and into the gym? Try these tips from Woman's Health and Fitness Magazine:
    First: Go to bed in your gym clothes. I know it sounds crazy, but waking up in your jog pants and t-shirt is going to make it a lot easier to get out of bed and into the gym. If that's too extreme for you, lay your gym clothes out the night before, so everything's ready to go in the morning.
  • Next: Grab a buddy. Get a friend to join you for your morning workouts. If you agree to meet for a jog at 6am, you'll be a lot less likely to ditch your workout because you won't want to bail on your friend.
  • And a final way to get yourself to exercise in the morning: Go to bed early! Your health is more important than Letterman! If you turn out the lights earlier, you'll get plenty of sleep, and this'll make it easier to hit the ground running, literally.
