Has anyone ever told you you're a "good listener?"

If not, maybe it's about time to shape up!
Here are some tips on how to REALLY listen to people. We found them in Glamour magazine, and they come from a man who knows a little something on the subject   Larry King.
  • First: If you don't understand what someone is talking about, say": "I don't understand. Can you explain?" There's nothing wrong with not knowing.
  • Next: Let the person you're talking to know you're interested. You might think being an accountant is dull, but they don't. So ask, "What fascinates you about accounting" or whatever the topic is.
  • And finally, you never learn anything when you're talking. Larry says apply that to your life and not only will you be a better listener, but you'll be richer in the long run.
