An OB-GYN in St. Louis is getting a lot of flack for a Facebook post. Here’s what she posted on her Facebook page:

"So I have a patient who has chosen to either no-show or be late (sometimes hours) for all of her prenatal visits and ultrasounds. She is now three hours late for her induction. May I show up late for her delivery?"

Now people are calling for the doctor to be fired for violating doctor/patient confidentiality. But others say she never named the patient and that complainers should get a life — she was just griping about work like everyone else on Facebook.

What do you think: She violated privacy and deserves to be fired? She shouldn't be fired, but showed poor judgment? Or, heck, everybody complains about their job on Facebook and doctors are people too?
